Hi All,

I have been having a difficult time lately...during a time when I "should" be feeling fantastic.

I am about to open a small business. This is something that I have wanted for YEARS. Everything fell in to place for me to embark on this fantastic opportunity.

After having felt good for some time my anxiety is at a very high level right now. I know that I should be keeping my expectations in check, however, I am about to take a very big risk and can't help it. What if this business fails?, what if I lose money?, what if no one walks through the door?, what if I'm not good enough?, smart enough? etc, etc.

As I said, this is a very real risk, not something that I have imagined.

Any suggestions appreciated.

opening your own business is very anxiety producing - I would say that those are normal feelings and to accept them.

WHAT IF --
the business is a huge success
you gain a wonderful profit
so many people walk through the door that you need to hire another employee
you're better at this business than ever imagined
you're smarter than you gave yourself credit for
etc, etc....

What a wonderful, EXCITING adventure!
My husband and I got a bit nervous expanding our business and some family told us we were nuts!
Guess what? Worked out fantastic!!!!

Are you kidding me? You are experiencing normal emotions for someone in your position and anxiety is certainly one of them.
As someone else wrote, what if you make a million , what if you're successful, what if you need to expand?
I'm sure Donald Trump & Bill Gates had the same thoughts.

Keep the faith. You're on the right path.
