Well,
Two months i began writing a book on anxiety/depression. In the past years, as soon as i got an idea , i would immediately sit down and start writing. I could write for days on end, with no interruptions. (OCD will do that to you) Once i started i couldnt quit till i finished.. But, i tried the same thing on this book, and found out,, its not that important to finish it in record time. Thanks to the program, i realize, i cant expect instant results!! I have think and rethink before writing my thoughts and ideas down. Im very grateful for that, because i can concentrate, and not wear myself out daily, get frustrated, or angry at myself because im not instantly finished. My expectations have become realistic NOW. Which is awesome. Before they were sooo unrealistic!! I put way to much pressure on myself and others around me. Thanks MWC, for Helping me in so many ways, to live life,, and enjoy it. instead of rushing through it, like a mad person!!!! NellySmiler

Nelly,

Good for you girl! I know getting to the point where our expectations are more realistic can seem like an eternity. Sometimes I feel like I have grasped it and other time I believe I fail miserably.

Good luck with writing your book. I know I have considered writing some books myself. (I like writing children's stories) But I never seem to actually get started. Maybe one day I will. Big Grin

I hope you will keep us updated on how your book is coming along.

Take Care,
Carrie

Hi! Just wanted to let you know I'm writing a book too! I've got two in the works, one fiction, the other non-fiction. It's nice to meet fellow writers. If you ever want to email advice on writers block or anything like that just email me. Good luck on your book!

Nelly,

You are writing a book? WOW!!!! I am so happy for you. I admire people that have the patience and talent to write. So glad to hear that you have realistic expectations. I know, when I get started on something, I just wanna go go go and get it done, I usually stay up late trying to finish stuff. Razzer But even God did not create the world in one day Big Grin. Remind yourself of that, be patience with yourself. The best work is not done under pressure. Take your time. Wink

Love you Nelly! God Bless you and your family! LizB

Hey Nelli! Congrats on writing the book! As soon as it hits the book store (and it will remember there is no such thing as failure) let me know because I'd like to add it to my library.

Hey Nelly,

That is so awesome! There is no time limit. I wrote my first book and it was published in July of 2005. It too is about anxiety, my experiences with it and how I conquered it. It is an amazing process, but not an easy one either, but the best thing is having people asking for more! Best of luck to you!
