Ok! I lost my workbook and my journal! I am freaking out!!! I am afraid somebody will read it!! God know what they'll think!! I can't do the Homework!!! I have turned my house and my car upside down!!!! I did sleep at all!! To top it off now I am thinking really stupid things......like I'll never recover!! I couldn't even hold on to the workbook and my journal for 4 weeks!! Any way, does any one know if I can get another workbook! Talk about negative self talk....I am gonna make myself crazy!!!!!
Thanks,
Donna

Hey Deejay! First of all -- take a deep breath. It will be okay. You can get a new workbook from the Midwest Center. If losing things after only having them for four weeks means that a person will never recover, then I would be absolutely hopeless!!! Chances are good that once you stop freaking out about it, the workbook and journal will show up. It seems like that's always the way it happens with me. And what's the worst thing that could happen if someone found your workbook and read it? Do you think they would know who it belonged to? Besides, having the courage and taking the initiative to confront problems with anxiety/panic/depression is a very positive thing. Its nothing to be ashamed of. Who knows -- maybe someone might see it and be inspired to confront their own problems with anxiety! Stranger things have happened!

I hope you can get some rest. It will be okay.

Deejay,
I started the program about a few months ago and two weeks ago, someone came into my garage and took my book bag that had my workbook in it. I know how you feel. I felt lost, confused, mad and hurt. I decided to call the Midwest Center to see what they could do. The person on the other end was the most sensitive and sincere person I could have talked too.

Please, Deejay, call the Midwest Center.

I've already recieved my new book and I am keeping a close eye on it.

Everything will be fine.

Thanks,
Bryan
