I don't know what to do.

My first instant is to stay on lesson 4 for another week and review 3 also.
I know that on one of the videotapes it says not to get stuck in one place or not to be perfect.

I 'm not even close to perfect.

The test at the start of the workbook gave us ideals or guides on which lesson we need to pay closer to or focus on.
Well I really feel I need to get the hang of these lessons more.

I need to get a strong foundation big time in theses areas. I do hve some of it down!!!

It's just I have a lot of past baggage that weights me down
not to mention whats going on right now.

I had a big bad day and I blew up big time. I was so up set

I didn't even think to apply some of my new skills till later. All I could do was take a pill and half to relax. I got better after the pilla wore off.

I know this was just a low that I guess sometimes will happen

and I feel as my skills build I will handle things like this better.

That's why I think I should Oh O {SHOULD} LOL: stay here a while longer

I don't want to mess up the program.
I think this is right?

It's just hard for me to make decisions right now let alone to even know when there the right one???

I will still keep moving toward the positive light, push forward, and dig in!!!

God Bless

I felt like you on lesson 2 and 3
i didnt move on and did an extra week in both...
which made my anxiety feel worse... i felt like a failure, i felt maybe the program is'nt working for me... that i was completly thick because i didnt get it! LOL Razzer

i reccomend you move on.. and you can always listen to the previous weeks lesson again at a later stage or when ever you feel the need..
this works for me..
im only at week 5 (just started today)
and im struggling myself... but i do believe you should move on
"onwards and upwards" Wink
take care

THANKS

Bex thank you for your reply.

I needed to here what you said; I was about to stay on lesson 4 for a third week! LOL not really WELL MAYBE?

It is hard for me I feel because I'm so overwhelmed with all the stuff going on in my life i feel that I'm not working the program properly.

Well I need to be more positive

I'm doing pretty good, I'm learning some things for sure LOL, and I will use these life skills to help me deal with all my stuff that is going on in my life.
Well it's late so take care

Dear Frosty,

My general rule of thumb as far as length of time on a lesson is two weeks. I say that from lots of years watching... More than 2 wks usually means someone is trying to be toooo perfectionistic (causes stress Smiler ) or they are subconsciously avoiding going on (causes stress Smiler ).

NO ONE has all of the skills in a lesson down to a proficiency level in a week...but you have probably noticed we draw the skills from each lesson on into the next. Remember, at anytime in the following weeks one can review a lesson. At the end of the program we ask you to take a couple of weeks off and then do the program again...you will be amazed! at what you think you didn't hear.

One day at a time, Carolyn
