I'm just finishing up week 4 and I think I've done pretty good so far. I have given a public presentation in front of a big group and not missed one day of work in the last month. I've been a little anxious at times, but muddled through.

Two problems still remain:
1-This dang bewilderment or foggy feeling seems to be with me most of the time.

2- I still think about anxiety almost every minute of the day; even when I'm watching a movie. When I focus on this, I start getting obsessive, negative thoughts.

Can anyone relate?

You are doing very well.

Those feelings you still have are OK to have!! Just accept them and keep doing things you normally would do and remind yourself that it's OK to feel that way.
The sooner you do that.....the sooner you will find those feelings will go away.

Those feelings are like a neglected friend.....if you starve it of the attention.....it leaves!!

I have to agree with SMears. It takes time to work thru this. You sound like you are doing very well. THose feelings do eventually go away. Different time frame for each person. Just keep working the program and relax. Reena

Thanks for your encouraging words. I'm finding it more common to string together 5-10 consecutive minutes without thinking about my anxiety. I am really getting better.

Thanks again....
