I went through this program last January and it made the world of difference in my life.
Background: I was diagnosed with Multiple Sclerosis in Oct 97 and Cancer Nov 97. Boy was my world rocked. Today I am cancer free (so to speak) and still learning the many faces of Multiple Sclerosis. Sometimes I will expect too much of individuals around me, when I'm not feeling well. My significant other constantly tells me he is going to do this, do that, and do the other thing. The bottom line is that he only cuts the grass and takes out the trash. I have beat my head on the wall until I have made myself sick. Finally, I realized that he isn't going to change, so I will. ------------------ Ginger Wood |

Ginger,
I cannot imgine the courage it takes for you to overcome your difficulties. Even though I know better, I still wait for people around me to change. It's their turns, you know. But you are right, we will have to change and stop hoping the other will. with admiration, drop |
