Does anyone know if you can have some beers if you happen to take one .25 of xanax? I haven't taken a xanax in 18 days and I felt like I was going to pass out today, got nervice and paniced and took a xanax, I feel sooo much better and we have a birthday party to go to and I planned on having a few adult beverages. I went online to see if you can and of course it says don't may increase effect of alcohol. For us panicers I just wanted to know if it would kill me if a have 3 or 4 beers? Your input is greatly appreciated.

I take xanax .25 also, I was told that alcohol can intensify the effect that you are havinf ie it may put you to sleep. I would suggest calling your pharmacist. I have had great luck with honest info from my pharmacist.

A couple beers are not going to kill you. It is advised that you do not drink while taking this medication. You are taking .025 of Xanax which is a low dose plus you do not take it everyday. Go enjoy your party and have a few beers.

Thank you! Sometimes my rational thinking goest right out the window and I think WAY too much more than I should. Then I focus on that I did take it and I will feel a pain or something and be like "oh my God, I knew this one beer would make me o.d." I am so frickin' crazy and only all of you understand so I can really let my feelings out.
