I am finding out I have many negative thoughts. It is hard to remember to write them all down. I find myself catching myself making a negative remark and changing it to a positive remark. I am trying real hard to think positive. Its not easy, but I guess with practice it will become a habit, I hope.

that's exactly what the goal is! abd i'm doing the same thing. i notice i think a lot of negative things while driving, because i'm alone and have an hour drive to work. obviously i can't write them down, and honestly i don't think that's the most important part. what you are doing, changing the negative to positive, is what the main focus is. writing it all down only makes it more obvious to us what we are thinking and how often we think it. you are on the right track, and you are not alone!

Hey heart29...I thought what you said about "I find myself catching myself making a negative remark" was really good you are realizing and becoming aware of what your doing. That's Great!
I don't know If this will help but something I have started is writing down my acomplishments everyday..nothing is to big or to small!!! something I wrote just yesterday was. I got up at 7am. for me that was a good thing. don't worry about what other peoples acomplishments are. This is about you! try hard to not compare yourself with others. Remember NOBODY IS PERFECT. It will get easier...be patient with yourself. I hope that helps |
