i need help with changing positive to negitive when it comes to obsessing about my health. i have a hard time not thinking the worse everytime i get a pain or tingle or cramp. i just can't manange to get it together to change that if anyonre has any suggestions i would love it.

thank you for your words of encouragement. i am trying to stay focus but i feel like "how do i find positives for so many negitives" i feel like it is a never ending battle. sometimes i am just so overwhelmed that i think where do i begin. i will just keep plugging away and hope i figure things out. if anyone has any insight i will take it thanks.

Dear Cosmogirl,It is not easy in the beginning.I started off like that. Give yourself time and relax and breathe. Take somes walks and enjoy your surroundings. I have some wonderful very positive supportive friends. This would be a big help.
If you have medical problems get them checked out. If you are medically cleared than you know your health is ok. The tapes are a big help. Positive affirmations are also good. I did all these things. The bottom line is we have to do the work. I constantly work on me. I love to read and I have many books that help me understand my problems. I hope some of these things help you. |

I know what you mean, when you feel negative, it is hard to stop and switch over to positive happy mode. Start each day with a positive thought. Add another positive thought at noon and dinner time and befor you go to bed..Pretty soon, these positive thoughts will give you more self confidence. If you are thinking, I can't do this! Instead, think: I can do this! It's something that I am working on also! Good luck with this, and if you think of something positive to help me, please let me know!!! iam still kinda stuck on this. does anyone have any suggestions as to how to believe the possitives that you tell yourselves. i am having a very hard time with this. i feel like i either can't find a positive that is comforting or i don't believe it at all. please help. thank you.

Hye Cosmo, thoughts have no power unless you give power to them! So give that power to positive thinking. It's true that you can't control the subject matter sometimes, but you can change the station in your head. You can't control the content of your thoughts but you can control you interpretation of them. Think POSITIVE! You can do it!!!!

thank you suzie i just have to figure out how to believe the positive and convince myself that the positive is right. i will just keep fighting
