Hi Lori and Others: How bout the name
"Carpe Diem Community"?

(carpe is pronounced "CAR-PAY" and DIEM is
just DI-EM, like it looks)

Carpe Diem is latin for "seize the day".
I thought this might be appropriate for us since we are all very busy people and we need to "seize" the opportunities we have for being active with the program during our busy days. Let me know what you think...if you don't like this name we can continue coming up with more ideas.

It's much more positive, and it makes me laugh because there is an episode of Buffy the Vampire Slayer where Buffy is given that advice, and wonders what "fish of the day" means.

So I think that would be a great name.

Ok, I am glad you like "Carpe Diem Community".
I think it does have a nice ring to it. I'll post and let everyone know about the name change. We've had some new folks joining us this week, which is a good sign.

i am getting so far behind at work that i've got to stop spending so much time on this board.(!) i am still working lesson 2 this week -- studied the work book last night. i plan to move to week three on sunday. i will post as i have time but if you want to keep this community going, then please feel free to pitch in with the updates about where we are, etc. i am going to need to give the board a rest.
