I'm feeling proud of myself today-well at least a little. Yesterday I was down at a bike shop trying to sell my bike. The guys that worked there were talking to me and all sorts of people kept coming in the shop. I started freaking out. You know what I mean! But I held it together (I don't know if they noticed how weird I was acting). I got a pretty good price for my bike and threw up in the parking lot. But I made it to my car!!! Just wanted to share. Please let me know of your triumphs. Thanks Ing

Congratulation!

It does get better. Everytime you see something through it seems that the next time it's not as bad.

GOOD LUCK!

Betsy

I used to throw up, cry, and have IBS all at the same time during a panic attack. Now I just have the panic with the IBS. I no longer throw up because I no longer eat in the evening when I'm more prone to anxiety. Nor do I cry.

Thanks you guys! I know it will keep getting better. I find it hard to put myself out there to deal with those things. I get pretty-much exhausted from one trip "out there". I appreciate the support. I'll go out tomorrow and let you know how it goes. Please tell me of your experiences-it helps.
Thanks again. Ing

Dear Inq,

I don't know if you have the program or not, but vomiting because of nervousness is a severe reaction. Have you done the 2-4 breathing to control this? If done with the mental counting, followed by the calming self talk, I think you will see a huge improvement.

Be very proud of your efforts!
What does you doctor say about this?
