All of these symptoms sound like they are related to panic attacks or panicky thoughts. It is so frustrating that doctors never think that a pt with so many physical symptoms might be suffering from a mental disturbance. I know because I went to many doctors for years until one of them suggested that it could be panic attacks. Once I learned more about them, I discovered that this is what I had had for years. Finally, someone knew what was wrong with me!!! All of your symptoms sound like you have panic attacks. The best advice I can give you is to stick with the program and healing yourself mentally and the physical symptoms will become less and less.

It sounds very much to me like anxiety. I go through spells of feealing "off." Not quite dizzy but I feel like I may tip over. It seems to happen when I'm really stressed out and I have tones on my mind. Instead of dealing with the things that are truly bothering me, I end up using the dizziness as a way of distracting myself from the actualy problem. I wouldn't quite say they're panick attacks, sounds more generalized anxiety. Do you obsess over these symptoms once they come?
I read something about when we have anxiety it throws off our inner ear balance. Someone at the Midwest Center said it has to do with that and the fact that our muscles in our neck and shoulders tense up.
I am having the same problem now and have had it for over a week now. I just feel lightheaded all the time, with it getting worse when I focus on it too much, (like now!). My biggest fear was that I would pass out, but I haven't heard of anyone doing so on this forum....if anyone has please don't tell me! I have also had vision problems that the doctors can't find a reason for. I started at the eye doctor, then my regular doctor and even a neurologist. I am scheduled for an MRI in a week. My doctor said he doesn't expect to find anything on it, but wants to still do it. I have also had so many other tests over the past year for other physical symptoms that went away when I stopped worrying about them. My doctor also said that the mind is a powerful thing and how your body reacts physically to your thoughts, as we all know.
