It may be because of getting down to the real fears that trigger my anxiety but, I am afraid now more than ever after starting to shed some layers. Can anyone relate? Is this part of it? It's like I don't want to go any further, I'm worried. Anyone felt like this after session 2 and overcome it?

pinkee-please note my comments on "more anxiety" in the new peer group forum. As you shed layers...remember you are exposing new, more fragile layers...with practice they will become tougher.
This is a great opportunity to use those skills in lesson 2-the six steps. Carolyn |

Pinkeetoz - I had increased anxiety when I started the program, but believe me this short term pain is worth the long term gain you will receive by finishing the program. I would say my anxiety started to decrease with Session 5. From Session 5 through Session 11, I struggled with generalized anxiety and became frustrated beyond belief! This frustration stemmed from the fact that I was getting so much better but I still couldn't shake the Big "A". I'm happy to report that four weeks out of the program, most of my days are anxious free and I am again enjoying my life. It is a blessing! Believe in yourself and fight for this as hard as you've ever fought for anything. The rewards are amazing! Good luck!

Thank you ladies for the encouragment. I just got back from a 20 minute walk, picked up in my bedroom a bit, did some aerobics for about 5 minutes. I will keep pushing, thanks again for the support
