Hi. Not sure what I'm doing online, but i guess i need help. I've had the program for quite awhile, but i only got going a couple of weeks ago. I feel strange. I'm using the techniques, of course, but right now i feel very conflicted. I'm not used to letting myself feel anything, especially concerning past traumas, and i'm finding that as the days go by new feelings(good and bad) get mixed in with old ones, and i feel like things are just getting too big to handle by myself. My panic attacks seem to get worse. I haven't been able to relax for three days straight, even with the techniques. Is it worth telling friends that i'm on the program and that i need their help, or what should i do? has anybody had any bad experiences telling others that they were on the program? Should i continue with the program as the workbook suggests, or should i repeat week 2? is it normal for things to get worse at this point? will i feel better if i go to the next week? please help.

It is not unusual for the symptoms to get worse as you go thru this program. It's ok to slow down if it gets too painful, but I would suggest working thru it. Yes. Talk to friends. You could benefit from supportive friends. Or a therapist if you need it. Get yourself whatever you need or think might help you. Wouldn't you do that for a loved one?

It's quite common for people's symptoms of anxiety and panic to temporarily, note temporarily, worsen when first dealing with them. This happens in therapy too. Try not to let it disconcert you, you will be fine.
Yes, go on to lesson 3 and go back and review lesson 2 whenever you feel the need or when the workbook suggest it.
There is lots of great suppport on this online forum so if you're comfortable, go ahead and utilize it!
Best wishes.
