I am being treated for allergies and my main symptoms are dizziness and feeling like Icant breathe/congestion. The dizziness triggers my anxiety because I attach danger to it. Can anynoe relate and have suggestions of how to deal with?

Been to every kind of Doctor imaginable. Hopefully you will get through the program and not have to suffer with this any more. Remember to change your diet. After I gave up all the bad stuff that make anxiety worse the stuffy head and allergy symptoms went away.

Sugar, caffiene, chocolate, high carbohydrate foods, etc.

I can definitly relate. I have allergies that make my ears clog up, and make me cough and hack like there's no tommorow. And this is very anxiety producing for me. I somethimes worry while I am coughing that I won't be able to stop and I'll lose my breath. Then of course I start to worry about passing out or dying. The point I am trying to make is that none of these things have ever happened. The only thing that does is a big ol' whopin panic attack, which ALWAYS passes. So my advice to you is to realize that it's not the allergy symptoms that create your panic, it's your thoughts, and while the dizziness and other symptoms "suck" the anxiety doesn't have to be a part of it. You just have to say things to your self like "it's just allergies and it's normal to have these reactions when they flare up, I'm not going to die, I'm not going to pass out I may feel uncomfortable for the time being but it doesn't have to be a big deal" It takes practice and perserverance to really get this to sink in but if you do this long enough it will eventually sink in and it won't be a big deal any more.
