I don't think anyone who has had anxiety disorders will find recovery is ever Fast enought! Smiler They have seen doctors and have been told she is in very good health...

"The good news is that you are healthy!!! I hope you take the time to celebrate that a bit.
You know, good things bring stress too. The birth of a new baby, new job, new friend...I think you are trying tooooo hard. Smiler All of the things you are trying are Good things...but maybe your expectations are a bit high. I mean that - it takes more than a few weeks to get good at what you are practicing and it also takes a bit of time to make the new thinking a part of your being.

In the beginning people tend to Grab the skills rather than focus on making them a life style. They actually make themselves more nervous with their intensity...make sense? Also, it takes time to diminish the toll that years of anxiety have taken...It is a Process. We have to give ourselves time to climb Down the ladder of stress.

I hope that is helpful. Carolyn

What a nice post! Its good to read a good one that encourages us as a whole to be the best we can be without going overboard.

Life is a gift and every single step we take in the right direction is a wonderfull accomplishment that sometimes we forget to praise ourselves for.

Patience and expectations......good lessons learned.
