Does anybody else lay down to go to sleep and relax but every nerve in your body just decides to fire up, and you can't lay still, get that jump out of your skin feeling, and you have to get back up again to relax....

This is my latest battle and its really driving me bonkers. I have seen the doctor thinking it was something physical or neurological but he is assuring me that it is anxiety.

But yet I think what if he is wrong? It happens more than just in bed, in chairs and on my couch too. Anxiety is tough enough without adding lack of sleep too...

Driving me crazy, any ideas?...

Have you checked into restless legs syndrome? What you're describing sounds a lot like that. You might want to check it out.

First of all, do you use cafine? If so, that is about 30% of your problem. i've had restless leg for years, and i know excactly what you're talking about with wanting to jump out of my skin. What i did while going through the program is i gave up all cafine and started using the relax tape three times a day. In fact, almost a year in to it, i still listen three times a day. The next thing i found was the good-days vitamines, the stress center puts them out so you knew it was safe for me. they have a night time version that totally relaxes me without tranqualizing me. All this allows me to get to sleep faster at night, and i am much more rested because of it. Hope this helps you!
