Hi everyone, just wanted to share my progress.
I've signed on this program late January 2008.
At first I scanned throught the program. I looked at every page from lesson 1 to 15, I guess I wanted to see if this program was really for me. I hesitated for weeks until I sat myself down and really decised that I wanted to start.
Week 1.. I;ve got a clearer picture on how and why stress and anxiety have reached the point that it is thats interfering in my life.
Week 2.. The six steps. WOW!!! now thats a tool.
After one week on lesson 2 I really didn't feel any improvement.. same old, so I decised to spend another week in lesson2.
That made a big difference for me.
I began to recognize my early symptons of panic so that I can apply the six steps...
I'm not saying that I'm not getting any, all I'm saying is that at least its no longer getting to a point where I'm standing on my toes screaming murder. "Stage 10"
I came to terms with I am my safe person... I can turn to me. Afterall its me that doing all the scaring.
I'm working hard in trying to elimate the internal anxiety, by just focussing on the present.
Example, If I driving and I feel that I'm getting anxious, I immediately go throught part of the 6 step, then I change my focus on whatever i see... a billboard, the sky anything, but I focus on the fine details leaving my mind not to wonder back to whatever negative or scary thoughts.
All I'm saying is I'm doing better, and I'm ready and excited to start lesson 3.
Thank you for listening.

Yay!! Congrats & keep up the good work.

Session 2 is very 'real' isn't it? It really
helps to use those steps to stop the panic from
getting worse. It even makes you feel 'calmer'
just knowing you can stop them. Smiler
