I have had panicky feelings on and off all day. I feel good and then it's like a little adrenaline is released and just when I think I am going to have a panic attack, its over. they are coming in spurts. It has been all day. Anyone else have this? Am I going to be ok?

I have been doing this program for 5 days, I understand your feelings. When I think of getting over my anxiety I start the what ifs. It is scary to change the way I have been for over 30 years, I feel it is a change for the much better but it is scary none the less because I don't know how to do it how to act how to.... and on and on. So I decided I am committed to 15 weeks of working hard on my goals.. when the anxiety starts I tell myself there is no turning back to the comfort zone because the comfort zone (where I have been for 30 years) isn't all that great or I would have never started the program , I then practice what I am learning in lesson one and just think of what I am doing right now then the anxiety fades away. Kudos to you for taking the first steps. YOu are strong and you will be fine |

Hi Amy,
When my panic started "getting out of control" or more intense, it is when I started getting the attacks throughout the day for days at a time. I am not a doctor, but before it gets worse, I totally recommend therapy so that you can find out where it is coming from and how to control it (w/out taking medication if possible...I have to control my panic attacks with meds and therapy). Hope this helps.
