Hi all,
My name is Tanya. I just got the program the other day. I have listend to tape 1 and in the book on pg vii it tells me what to do each day. Well for some reason I am confused. Can anyone give me an idea how they use this everyday and what they do. I know I need to do the jornal as well, do I tell how I felt each day, what I did, things that made me feel good..etc..I know this soudns goofy, but I have never kept a jornal before. Also on the relaxation tape, I found it hard to breath thru my stomach. I guess because I have gone for so long not aware that I have been breathing with my chest instead. Weird huh? Did anyone find it difficult at first as well? Thank you for any suggestion's and the help. God Bless..Tanya. ------------------ |

Congratulations on ordering the product. I wish you Much success and happyness on your road to recovery! I am currently on week 6 of the program and I will tell you how I use it. This is what works for me. I too, was getting a little confused on the print sheet. Day 1: Listen to my lesson. Day 2: Go through the book lesson, just taking my time to read it. Day 3: Listen to my lesson tape again. Sometimes I'll take it in the car. Or in the evening at home Day 4: Do my homework lesson Day 5: Complete any of the action assignments, or write them down as goals. Day 6: Listen to my lesson tape. Day 7: Finish any homework or action assignments. This is what I basically try to do. You will find a routine that works for you. I don't think it is extremely critical that you get a set schedule, because you will just get upset if you find you aren't keeping it. I will put my relaxation tame in the morning while I'm getting ready. I try to listen to it in the afternoon and participate. I listen to it at nite and participate here for sure. Also, as for journaling. Just have fun about it. The workbook will give you suggestions, but basically what you were listing is great. Just write about the day, what you did, how you felt, ect....It's fun. Good luck and keep visiting the forum! I find that this is really helping me with different questions, support, ect.! Everyone here is basically going through the same thing so it's really nice. Oh, as for the relaxation, tape, I did find it very hard to breath with my stomach at first. And it was frustrating because sometimes I have allergies and my nose gets plugged and I can't breathe in through my nose! ha ha. I would just breathe in through my mouth. You will get the hang of it. I did, and now it's like second nature. I don't even think I breathe through my chest again. A visualization that helped me was to just picture the air filling my lungs throughout my stomach, sides and back. It might help. HealingGirl |

Thank you so much for the tips, they are much apperciated. I was just getting a little frustrated not knowing if I was doing something right or not. Guess thats part of it as well.
