I bought my program in Feb. And Ive watched it a total of 3 times total. I just cant get into it. I need some motivation. Frowner

Tina: I bought the program in Nov. got up to session 5- then stopped and did it on and off- I restarted yesterday- I dont have any ideas other than take your time and DONT BEAT YOURSELF UP, that will make it worse for sure! please let me know if you get any good ideas! you arent alone.. again!

I think we should do the program together so we can talk to each other about it and stuff. And if we have troubles with a certain part then we can kind of talk and help each other out. Because originally me and my boyfriend were gonna do it together, but now hes never home so its kind of weird watching it alone and every time I watch it I loose intrest and think about other stuff. Its crazy.

Maybe we should start watching them at the same time, have a schedual or somthing like that...and talk about what we watched. Or if you have any other ideas... Cool

perhaps we should pick a day to start session 1 or 2, pick days that week we'll do it (keep regular) and then email on the following day our thoughts and just support eachother.. perhaps this will help keep us encouraged because we have to answer to eachother.. we could start tonight, we'll both do session 2 and the homework.. chat tomorrow about it? and maybe make a goal that neither of us smoke till noon tomorrow? LOL..

hahahaha thats funny! Well I think it will help ME for sure, because I know I HAVE somebody out there thats gonna ask me "oh did u watch it" so I will make a habit of it better. What time is it over there right now? Here its almost 11am

I definitly will too. So what time do you think your going to watch session 2? Do you watch the whole thing or what? Do you do the relaxation afterwards?

I have that problem with procrastinating too. It effects every area of my life.

I've had an audio program I've been meaning to start for half a year, but I never get around to it. And this series could probably help me a lot. I guess it's to easy to attempt to avoid the real world..(thus avoid my problems) by playing computer games or reading or whatever I'm doing.

If an immediate motivation...like the fear of being in trouble I guess it's hard for me to start something. I don't know if this is common with people with anxiety...I'm guessing it probably is.

Im the same way, I just rather watch tv or somthing like that then watch the video and hear it. Idk im sure it will work, but I just need to do it and stick with it ....its hard tho..

I HAVE NOT RECEIVED MY PROGRAM AS YET AND WITH LISTENING TO ALL OF YOU IT SOUNDS TO HARD AND SCAREY TO EVEN START WHEN IT GETS HERE.
I HAVE BEEN DOING THE SAME NEGATIVE THINGS MY WHOLE LIFE AND I HAVE TURNED TO GOD AND AM DAILY STRUGGLING WITH THIS AT WORK AND AT HOME. I AM ON MEDS BUT I STILL DON'T HAVE CONSISTENT GOOD DAYS AND WHEN I DO I HAVE NO IDEA WHY THEY ARE GOOD. I AM SO AFRAID THAT THIS PROGRAM............I HAVE TO BE POSITIVE AND SAY YES THIS PROGRAM IS GOING TO WORK BECAUSE THIS AND GOD ARE ALL I HAVE.
PLEASE SOMEONE THAT IT HAS WORKED FOR GIVE ME THAT POSITIVE INPUT!

Hi Vickie:

wow, your post seems all to familiar to me! I found that when I first got the program I was more anxious, so be aware. I CAN TELL YOU IT WORKS! just have to do it, you get in what you put out! I have issues with avoidance, but when I got it nad was working really HARD on it, I was on a huge high for weeks! IT WORKS! I promise you! please keep in touch!

TINA: I have to spend some time with my horses tonight so probably before bed and yes, I try and do the relaxation CD (thats the key!) and I dont make time for it!
