Hi
Just wanted to say that I finally went to the dentist after 2 years of literally worrying about it. My check-up went great, no problems. I really don't know why I put off a 20 minute appointment for so long? I felt somewhat nervous, but I got through it. Also, I was verbally attacked and put- down by a sick grandmother in the nursing home 2 days ago. I cried a lot, but I didn't freak out or have a panic attack. I realized that the program really works because my automatic self-talk skills kicked in. I've been feeling kinda down lately and wondered if my positive self-talk skills were really in me or not anymore. Well, after that stressful experience, I learned that I'm not as negative as I think. I have it in me to be positive and kind to myself. These skills have been ingrained in me from the course, and I just need to bring them out more. Trish |
