The last two monthes have been shear hell. But all is not gloomy. During that time I was able to meet with my ex and tell him I forgive him. You would have to know the situation to understand why that is a minor miracle. I have begun reconciliation with my estranged daughter who ran away back in February and then shut me out because I had called the police on her for harrassing me a couple of monthes later. I met with her at a restaurant a week ago for breakfast. It is the first time I have been able to sit in a restaurant without anxiety in all my adult life. I am reconnecting with the world again via a program called Changes which helps with parenting. And I have allowed my son to go back to socializing with a group I do not want contact with from our old church. Much to be proud of.

Great Catpur!
You have accomplished so much positive especially with your daughter. Thank you for sharing it with us because your accomplishments mean that some of us can get past some fears and problems too. Victoria |

You are a "good soldier" catspurr. Sometimes it does feel like going "to hell and back" with our families and our own stuff. Congratulations for being tough and never giving up. Perseverance is a key for us that will reward us handsomely. Glad to hear you are forging ahead and makin progress.

Thank you all so much for your support. Have another victory. 6 monthes ago my car died so I couldn't go to the school tracks I liked for jogging. So I set a silent goal in my mind that I wanted to someday run all the way from where we ended up to the farthest track. I wasn't planning it but I made it today. It is about 3 miles and I walked most of the way back. In addition my son was hired at the first place he turned in an app at. He starts next week. YIPPEE for me.

Great news. I didn't know you were a jogger. Congratulations Catspurr.
I used to be a jogger/runner a long time ago. I still love it even though it takes me almost twice the time for the same distance. I try and do 3 miles 4 days a week. Half of it walking and half jogging. I'd like to do six miles on a Saturday, but not tomorrow. Keep up the exercise. It's good for us. |
