I am in week 4 of the program. I have been pretty much housebound for the last 4 years. I have finally started driving again and last week my husband and I went out for the entire afternoon to look at new homes.
When I ordered this program I was told I would begin to feel better in just a couple of weeks....boy were they right. I am feeling a little bit better every day. I actually look forward to starting my day to see what new things I will be able to accomplish.
This program is sooooo amazing.

Hi gagirl08..

Good for you. It's great that you are making such progress and serves as great encouragement to the rest of us.

I just started week three of the program and can feel myself slowly getting better as well.

Keep with it and talk to you soon.

Congratulations on your progress. I am also on session 4 and I spent two weeks on session 3 and intend to do the same thing with session 4 because they seem to be really helping me.

I too have come a long way in just a short time. It just amazes me how much of this was in my control the whole time. I know there will still be struggles but I also know I have already and will continue to learn more useful tools from this program.

The biggest benefit I have experienced is the day to day living in the moment and even when those moments aren't always what you would want them to be it's still been amazing to even react appropriately to the negative happenings. And most importantly not just react appropriately at the time but not dwell on the event after it's over.

I hope you continue to progress.

Hollyann22,

Definately the first few weeks were a little dicey. Just having to actually confront anxiety can bring more anxiety but once I realized what the program was trying to tell me about how my thinking effected by physical symptoms it all started falling into place.

I'm more convinced than ever that I am on the right path with this program and I hope you will find it works for you too.

I can relate to that fear. After 18 years of trying to do it on my own and crashing every couple years, finally getting meds 8 years ago, I've come to the realization that the synthetic chemicals are just masking the real issue. Got the CD's, listened to Sessions 1-4 already on long drives, really got my gut upset and queasy, right now a little scared to continue until I get started on the process of switching from meds to the Good Living supplements. Anybody out there with any advice about HOW to make the switch from meds to organics with minimal upheaval in relationships and employment? I'm on 200 mg Zoloft and 1 mg of Risperdal (the combo recommended by a trusted doctor: the Risperdal at such a low dose is supposed to be just a stabilizer, but I realize now it not only takes away anxiety, but focuses me so sharply on the present that I don't FEEL the vibes - very unnatural and has wreaked havoc on my life... ) -- that has enabled me to cope for 8 years, but leaves me in control and empty -- can anyone relate to that feeling? Sorry if I'm not clear...
Wondering in Canada..........

Take a piece out of life.

Hi Pete:

I would advise that you taper off your meds slowly. You've been taking them for 8 years and your body will need to gradually withdraw from them. You can do it...and with the program working for you, taking your natural supplements, and weaning yourself ever so slowly, by the time you are done with the program, you'll be free from drugs. Make sure you consult with your doctor on advice as to the tapering off. Good luck...you'll do it because you want to do it. Just medically speaking, you don't want to throw your body into more stress...you've been on meds for 8 years, a few more months for a lifetime of a drug free committment won't matter. Hang in there!!
