I was sooo happy on this past tuesday. I drove to the city for a scheduled mammagram by myself and did not have a panic attack or anxiety that I felt was not in control. The drive was about 1 and 1/2 hours away and I listened to sessions 3 and 8 to help put me in the right frame of mind. What a difference this made for me! My biggest fear is doctors,hospitals,and the like so this was a big deal to get through. My tests were all fine,I smiled at people in the hospital(usually feel like I'm going to have a panic attack as soon as I step into any hospital atmosphere)and breezed out feeling VERY GOOD and proud of my accomplishment. I don't think my husband realized what a big deal the whole thing was for me but I know you guys will.My husband is very supportive but doesn't always understand what I'm feeling. Anyway I just wanted to share the break through. Recovery...here I come!

That is great, Freckles! I can imagine how proud you are of yourself! My husband is the same way, he's very supportive and tries so hard to understand, but because he's never been through it, it is very difficult for him. CONGRATULATIONS!!! Keep up the good work!
