Just Gadget! |
Thought I'd share some success. I'm still working through the program (week 8 now), and I've been driving more & more. That's been one of my really big issues this year.
Before I realized I'd been dealing with anxiety I was aware of one thing that did make me feel anxious and uncomfortable. Towing our airstream trailer. We only got it last year, and I'd never towed anything before in my life. Well, the towing part was always difficult, and I'd get really nervous while on our travels. I now know it was the anxiety creeping in. On Thursday we hooked up the trailer and took a 45 minute ride north to a local park. I made it both there and back, and did a good bit of driving around in between. While I'm still not as comfortable towing as I am driving, it was a success. I haven't towed the Airstream all year, and I had to do it to know I could. I'll still be working through the program and practicing more, but I just wanted to let others know that progress does get made using the Attacking Anxiety & Depression. Glad I found this place & the program. Otherwise my Airstream would have become a permanent lawn ornament! Rich |
