Like many of us, I have disliked the dentist for a long time. Unfortunately for me, I have a lot of teeth issues! They look fine, but are fragile, so I'm there a lot.
Last week, I went in for an appt to get a crown prep and a filling - I was in the chair for over 2 hours. About half way into the procedure, my dentist (who is awesome) said "Ok, what is going on with you?" I asked him what he meant and he said "You are so calm today! Normally, you're asking a ton of questions and I can feel the anxiety coming off you the whole time you're here. Today, you seem as if you're asleep!" I wanted to hug him. I explained about the program to him and told him I was not medicated for my appt. He immediately got up and wrote down the name of the website. He also praised me so much for the rest of the appt, that I left the dentist on cloud 9 - how often does that happen??
