Today was a great day. I did something I did not think I was going to be able to do; but I felt the fear and did it anyway. I went Ice Skating with my kids and 3 of their friends. I had a great time. I enjoyed the precious present moment of it all. I wasn't sure if I could let myself do it, but I did. It felt good. It wasn't the actual skating that scared me, I can do that. It was the fear of having a panic attack infront of my children's friends. Being on the ice felt great; especially when it is 106 outside. We had a great time, and then all had pizza afterwards. My husband drove, since I am not driving; but I am definitely a better passenger now than I was 3months ago. So I am feeling triumphant today. The agoraphobia is a hard label to shake. I am not sure how it happened, but I do know that it won't stop until I learn that it is ok. So that is my day today.
YEE HA!! I highly recommend it........facing the fear and doing it anyway. Everyone have a great day. Linda
