Hello Everyone, I am still having the nightmares/dreams and it was bad last night. Took me a couple of hours when I got up to get back to some kind of "reality". Then I got a call from my dentist to say that a cheque I had given them had bounced! I had been to see a financial advisor at that bank and I am sure we agreed to invest some money and to put some money into a chequing account. I did receive the cheques and was sure everything was in order. I have been in touch with the bank and there was a misunderstanding that I feel was their fault. I totally "lost it", I suppose I totally over-reacted but just couldn't seem to control myself, I was so angry. I will have to pay $25.00 because of the return of the cheque and I don't think that's fair, also written another cheque which I hope to God isn't also returned. I don't think this has ever happened to me before, I was brought up to be very careful with money. I now feel terrible, feel like taking some tranquilizers and going to bed, daren't do that because I'll probably have more nightmares. Know this is horribly negative but realize how badly I am coping with stress of any kind right now. By the way for some reason I feel very uncomfortable and anxious whenever I see Sarah Palen on T.V. I don't think I trust her and perhaps pick up on her anxiety too! I shall have to stop watching the American election, too intense for me right now! I am seeing my psychiatrist today but I don't think he will give me anything to help me sleep peacefully, is there such a thing? I don't know. Perhaps that is why I am feeling so out of control because I not rested and just so tired from lack of proper sleep. I don't read my posts over, afraid I may not send them, so hope this makes some sense. It is some relief to be able to talk to you all who are out there. Thanks for your support.
Sincerely,
Joy

Maybe you could talk your bank into waiving the bounced check fee if it was a misunderstanding?? Sometimes they will do that for you. I hope your visit with the psychiatrist went well for you today. There must be something he can help with concerning the nightmares. This could get pretty distressing if you can't sleep due to nightmares. Does he have any suggestions at all?

Hello Joy,

My heart sincerely goes out to you. You have been going through so much lately and I'm so sorry.

If the bank made the mistake they should correct it and drop the fee. I remember many years back that our bank made an error and we went in and asked them to reverse the fee..they did and aplogized for the mix up.

I wish there was some way to cheer you up but I have no magic words or pills to do that.

I really do hope you can catch some sleep tonight and no nightmares.

Sending positive thoughts and prayers to you.

God Bless

BELIEVE YOU CAN CONQUER ANYTHING~ AND YOU WILL !! I DID IT, YES !!!!!

Hi Joy, I was just getting ready to leave the forum and saw your post here. Mary and Monty's mom have such good advice that I didn't have anything new to add. I hope this all gets worked out for you. I also agree with them, the bank should refund your money. I hope your evening goes better for you.

hi my name is kelly. I totally understand what you are experiencing. When you see your psychiatrist please be careful what sleeping medication you use. The doctor put me on serquil and tarazdone and they made me very aggitated and did not help me sleep. I suffer with insomnia and so i know how the lack of sleep can really make things worse. I have anxiety before i go to sleep and i wake up several times a night. I take lunesta(imovane) and i find they do not give you a hung over feeling in the morning like the other pills. I wish you all the best

I follow this motto on anything that is on tv; I use tv to create joy and happiness for me so I only watch positive shows. Do you wanna know what puts me in a positive mood the most? The Dog training shows on Animal plant, I also like Dog Witness and Jobs for Dogs on the same channel.

I do not watch the news, Dr Phil, or serious Oprah shows.
