Thought I would add some things we commonly think is absolutely true, but in reality sometimes is never true. Here some examples, can you add to the list?

Good always wins, again and again.
Love is a sweet dream that always comes true.
The heroe always wins the girl.
Life is a bowl of cherries.
Good triumphs over evil.
Nothing bad ever happens to good people.
Nothing good ever happens to bad people.
We can get away with self destructive behavior and never reap the results of that behavior.
We always reap what we deserve.
WE never reap what we don't deserve.
If we continue the same behavior, i.e. negative thinking, at some point we will get a different result, i.e. positive thoughts and change.
