Hey, ya'll!
Guess what! I got a new kitty last week. She's gray and white and I named her Blue Fairy 'cause she's so much like a sprite or fairy. She loves to climb on people, especially when they're eating. When we were driving home last week, she was climbing all over Robert and me in the back seat. She got up behind the seat and was staring out the back window for a while. Blue loves to sleep on top of people's throats or chests or in their laps, but she'll also sleep on top of my mom's cart in the living room, on the table, in Dad's leg braces, and last night I found her on a washcloth next to the bathroom sink. Untying Dad's shoes with her teeth and paws seems to be a big fun thing to her. One day last week, I was sitting next to my bookshelf listening to my lesson and Blue was climbing all over me. Twice she climbed on top of the books on the bottom shelves. She's even figured out how to get up under my parents' bed where no one can find her. LOL

Hey,
Sounds like you have a little cutey there! We have two very handsome male siamese cats. They both know how to fetch and they wrestle together and play tag. They know how to open cupboards and the fridge so I have to put child locks on them. We have a custom designed aok ggarbage can to keep them out of the bad stuff. They are so much fun to have around.

Congrats on the new kitty! One of my kitties dips his paw in a drink and licks it off. It is so funny to watch. My other kitty catches and kills things and brings them to us meowing real loud. Things like socks, shirts, shorts, etc. Reena

Ok....OK.....I swore I wouldn't get a kitten until we moved to our next home but this wasn't planned....

On my youngest sisters prom day, when I was due to arrive to do hair and make-up, I had no idea that my mom & dad had found a kitten ( only about 7 weeks old) under their shed in the backyard. No mother to be found and she was so small that she didn't even have all her teeth. They took her in and were going to drop her off at the animal shelter. Well, when I got there, I automatically adopted her without thinking twice. ( I have always been like this...) Anyways.... I took the kitten home that night in a large box and had my girls open it and they were so happy and suprised. ( afterall, I told them they would have to wait until our next house...)

We named her Pixie because she's SO tiny and she's fluffy white with a black/white stripped tail and some spots on her body and her face is also mixed. Her colors are black, white and olive. I'll have to get a pic soon to show everyone. She's adorable.

My kids loves her and our dog has become good friends with her already. They chase eachother and play games now. I am glad since my dog was afraid of her for a while but not anymore. Everyone's happy.

Hey, all!
Thanks for the congrats on my kitty. She is sooo sweet and silly. I rearranged my bedroom and she had to find another way to get in the window. Blue Fairy only weighs about two pounds now, and she has to use her claws to climb still. Earlier today, she climbed up on a shelving rack of blankets I have by the end of the bed and was trying to get under some of them. It was so funny. Then when I was at my desk, she climbed up on the backpack I keep my music in, onto the bin my keyboard's on (behind the keyboard). Wonder where she got that from...hmm? No, just kidding. My brother's cat, Shadow, was doing the same thing before we got Blue. Anyway, the keyboard and desk are at a 90 degree angle to each other now, and Blue jumped from the bin to the desk and proceeded to chew on my pen cap. After a while, she got bored of that and somehow jumped the short distance (maybe less than a foot)to the window ledge and was playing with the blind strings. Shadow's still having trouble getting used to her, but I think she's lessened the fissing quite a bit, and I hope Blue Fairy gets used to Desiree, our blue merle collie, pretty soon. I guess when you're cooped up in a cage with only other kittens around for the first ten weeks of your life, it's kind of hard to get used to people much less other animals. Anyway, I am glad for all ya'll who've got new kitties. Aren't they fun?
God bless ya'll, and please pray my animals decide to get along soon. Thanks.

Our Abby Spicy loves the two long green shoe laces that we tied together. She drags it around, meows, jumps on my desk with it so I'll play with her. She drags it everywhere!

Hey, V!

That's cool! "Lil Blue" Fairy thinks everything is to chew on-books, pens (capped or uncapped), my dad's shoelaces, and even the blanket on my bed.

Hi Marry,
Spicy loves to push things off the ledge of a table or counter. Even big things like candle holders, cups, etc.
I stepped on my watch that she threw on the ground. I find pens and other small items on the floor. She likes to watch them fall.

Hi, Victoria!
Spicy sounds funny. My brother's cat, Shadow, a female black shorthair, loves to jump up on high places. Yesterday she got onto my dresser and then the top of my bookcase next to it. At first I was yelling at her to get down, but then I forget she was up there til she knocked my porcelain doll named Emily, Cinderella, and a plastic horse. Thankfully she didn't break or knock down any of the breakable figurines and statues I have up there.
