Now why would a "Christian" person even call someone a "jerk". That was not very nice. People do not have to agree with one another. I am really surprised that would come from a Christian. I am not questioning your faith, do what you'd like. It is your life. But since this is a public forum, many other view these forums, all people of all ages. There are other things to consider. See my point below.

This is an anxiety and depression forum. Sure laughter is a great healer, but let us be completely honest here, those jokes were raunchy, play ground type jokes, stories. People do come here for a laugh, but you need to understand that not all that come here to the site are adults. There are some young people that do have the program, beleive it or not. There was a young girl that was here not too long ago, only 12-13 maybe. She does not need to be exposed to that type of language/ information. Her parents do not think anything of their daughter coming to the site because it is supposed to be a "safe" place, after all the program is great and "safe", why wouldnt the site be "safe" as well. The site is for healing, support, friendship, advice, right? Imagine the horror of her parents seeing those posts! (I hope they did not!)Inspiring, comforting, motivating, compassionate are not words that I bet her parents would use to describe what was posted. It is not fair to assume only adults come here since this is supposed to be a supportive, caring place for all. There are also people of different religious beleifs, backgrounds and maybe they cannot find the humor in it either. That is ok. There is a place for that type of humor, and I do not think it is appropriate in these forums.
These forums are a place for support, healing, friendship. It is supposed to be safe, you can find comfort here. There is enough stuff in the outside world that are negative, vulgar, hurtful, sad, scary, makes us feel uncomfortable, unstable. A laugh is great, it lightens things up to get that seratonin going. But when others may or cannot find the humor in it, it is hurtful and does not leave a positive image of this forum, the people on it and trust that a parent may have had and that young person has possibly lost their connection with others, there friends, people that they look forward to speaking with to find comfort, information and understanding. We do not know who purchases the program. Maybe a little sensitivity, understanding and trying to see a different side of this.

I DONT UNDERSTAND WHATS HAPPENING HERE , DID SOMTHING ELSE HAPPEN THAT IM JUST NOT SEEING . I am sure that Johns reply to la bella was in NO WAY, in support of her questionable posts. The same thing happened to me , I read one, thought it was funny went back to see the other posts I had missed while at work and saw a stream of posts by La Bella. I did not read any of the others right away . and at that point I agreeed with John that she was taking up to many threads. It wasnt until later that I went in and read another and was shocked by the content.
I agree that calling someone a jerk is not a very nice thing to do . Keeping in mind that people with anxiety tend to take things to heart and I have seen some pretty nasty stuff on this fourm. I think John felt he was being attacked for no good reason. There was nothing nasty in his post to labella and Im sure he was not supporting her. So he lashed out in anger ( what none of you have ever said things, not so nice, when you thought you were being attacked) of course you have , we all have . We all have different personalites , but we all suffer including John . I think there was a misunderstanding here, I hope it gets cleared up.
I also think , that was in no way Johns true colors, I find him to be funny kind and caring, and mabey different from what you are use to but in no way mean.

I did read the whole thread nelly , and I know he called her a jerk , I am not agreeeing with that part , I did say I didnt think it was a nice thing to do , I think that bakedpears misunderstood John post, I dont think he was in anyway supporting her .

While admittedly, I'm having to do a lot of 'reading into' John Thunder's words since he didn't write very many of them, I too think there was a misunderstanding in this thread.
At the time John Thunder started his original post, LaBella had joined the forum for one day and had written 37 posts, most of which were vulgar and inappropriate jokes. Since then, most have been deleted, it seems.
I read John Thunder's post to indicate to LaBella that LaBella should put all his/her posts into one thread, so they wouldn't be scattered all over the forum. That way, people who are offended by vulgar jokes could bypass that particular thread or MWC could delete the thread as they chose. By putting all the jokes in one place, it would be easier to bypass them if one chose to do so.
Given that John Thunder used the words 'overkill' in his thread title, I took that to mean that he was not only NOT encouraging, supporting or condoning LaBella's behavior but was actually trying to support the forum by having LaBella constrict his/her behavior to one place.
I dont know how to word this , but I am very upset this morning . I went to pm John , (yes thats right ) and his rights to view his pm has been taken away. I think some very hurtful things have been done here. Im not saying that I in any way support Johns behavior , but I do belive he lashed out in anger at what he thought was unfair treatment. I would also like to add that saying things like ( I knew it was only a matter of time until your true character came out ) is very hurtful, and can cut deeply , I would call that lashing out as well, minus the word jerk.
I have seen alot of people on this fourm say worse things ( mabey not to a moderator) and still have all there rights to use this fourm.
I love this site and everyone in it ,Including John. I just hope that my rights are not taken away for saying that I think some,, Im sorrys are needed from both sides.

Of course we should realize that John and LaBella are reading this thread to see how this is handled, so resolution of some sort should come forth. I'm not sure what that would look like, but I know he shouldn't call anyone a jerk and distasteful jokes don't belong on here, sooooo...maybe there's more here than "we" know about. I'm not being all "conspiracy theory", I just know there's reasons for why people respond like they do. We may not know everything and have to drop it.

i dont think labella was here more than one day. Dont know what she intended actually. But her jokes were crude, and not funny. I think that was baked pears purpose for posting in the first place. I know JT knew that baked pears was moderator in the forums and chat. I dont know what possessed him to call baked pears a "jerk" but it was inappropriate to say the least. There are plenty of just social chats all over the internet, where that kind of thing isnt frowned on, but in this chat, it is. Nelly
