I personally have a fear of roller coasters and many rides at amusement parks. The MW center helped a little.

Some of you are uncomfortable going to certain places and get panic attacks as a result of anzxiety. Now, roller coaster rides make one anxious but it is the kind that brings on a high.

So, do you like roller coasters because they give you that high or are you paniced about them and stay away.

I include it in this section because I think we might have some fun as perhaps we will get some replies on this thrill (if that's what it is to you).

If it scares you, do you think the MW will change the fear and give you courage, if not already?

I am scared of roller coasters! I will not go anywhere near them! Even if I didn't have panic attacks, this would still hold true. I just can't see getting on something that flips you and turns you and God only knows how fast. Lucinda might be a miracle worker, but no one is that good!

I too am scared of roller coasters. That stinking lady in CA who had the anyresm burst while she was on it still sticks in my head. I DO want to ride easy roller coasters, but so far I have gone on 2 this year. I am proud to say that I have ridden a roller coaster now! (Although I won't do anything too extreme esp if I feel like it looks like I will vomit on the ride! ) But because of the program, I did ride a roller coaster for the first time EVER this spring! (And of course...posted it on here b/c THAT was a big deal...although not a big coaster, but a starting point )
Take care,
Cindy

Hi Pkaye,
I understand that fear. Guess I ought have posted this on in the panic folder. I have that same fear because I feel that I have no control when in one. As if I'm going to die. So I will stay on the ground until it rocks with a Souther California earthquake.
