To anyone who has know the emptiness of anxiety:

Oh sunny day
Take me away
So I can say
I lived today.

Oh blue moon
Release me soon
From this cacoon
That has me carooned

Oh warm rain
Release this pain
So I can refrain
From this anxiety strain

Oh great sky
Teach my to fly
And let my rely
On a natural high.
This was my result of experiencing a highly boring, lonely, anxiety filled day. To my amazement it was my 5th poem that I have had published. I thought of it as corny but someone else appreciated it, perhaps someone who also suffers from anxiety.
