i was starting to have anxiety in the morning as soon as my alarm went off. but i figured out something to help, i sat my alarm to the spanish station so i wake up laughing thinking "what the hell?" lol. its helping too!

That's a pretty good way to go about it. I get anxious first thing in the morning as well. I just wound up setting my alarm for as late as possible so that I'm always in a rush and don't have time to think. hehe

The sound of alarm clock buzzards going *beep* *beep* *beep* Eeker used to scare me almost into a panick attack every morning. Too much adrenaline pumping to that noise, I guess. Now my internal clock goes off before I ever hear the bedroom clock, which doesn't seem to be serving its purpose these days. *yawn* Big Grin

Lilshygyrl That is so cute what you did. I was going through the same thing last fall when my anxiety came back in full gear. I tried setting my alarm for a later time also but it didnt rreally work, What I figureed out was that I felt alright when I woke up but when I had that first thought of having to go to work all the anxiety came back I would be a nervious wreck all the way to work. Once I got there I would be alright when I got started tp working and got my mind off the panic. So I said to myself every morning you were fine when you get up youll be fine when you get to work so i just started to work on that time in between, telling myself that it was all going to be alright it took about one and a half months, but I finally got over it I dont even think about the trip to work or the feelings that I use to have there are still a few days that are not real easy . I realized that if I was ok when I woke up then it has to be something that I am thinking or worring about that is making me anxious. Once I realized this it did become a lot easier for me to deal I hope that this is of some help Wink Wink
