Will you please pray for my stepdad Erv who is in ICU. He was flown by helicopter from our local hospital because of internal bleeding after an accident on his moped. He is a "young" 86. I say young because this man does more than some l8 yr. olds. The Dr. made a comment that it could be difficult since he's not a teenager. He was all banged up from the fall and bleeding. He did NOT want to go to the hospital. Thank God my mom made him. Anyway he's still under heavy sedation. My mom very much needs prayer since she lost my dad thru cancer and that's much on her mind. She stayed over at the hospital an hr. from here and I'll be seeing her soon. Thank you

Thank you so much. Just got home. Mom is really beat. Hubby just walked in door so gotta fill him in. Tomorrow Drs. will try to remove some of the tubes. So difficult to see him like that but his body needs the rest. Actually the accident was a blessing in disguise because he had a cyst on his kidney that burst. If it had happened at home it would have been too late. He didn't want to go to the hospital but mom made him so Rom. 8;28 "God works all things for good."

Mom just called. Doctors called her to get permission to do a colonoscopy before they take him off of anything. At least she slept some last night. Keep praying. I will let you know what happened when I return from the hospital. Your prayers mean so much.

Colonoscopy was ok but when taking him off the ventilator for an hour or so he had trouble breathing and had to go back on. This was hard on mom plus seeing families grieving cuz there loved ones passed away in that ward. Keep praying. I truly believe he will make it. He's a strong 86 yr. old.
