Lord, I pray first of all for faith-faith that what is going on in my life is exactly the way it was meant to be. I pray for faith that the final outcome for what I am going through is the way that is is meant to be.
Lord, I pray for strength and courage to to get through this. I pray for the ability to take care of my son and myself. I pray for the discipline to keep working on the program, and to keep trying to improve. I pray that I can find joy in the way things are. I pray that when the woman I love talks to me again, that I will be strong enough to handle the situation, whether she ever wants to try to make things work, or if she wants to end things forever.
Lord, I pray for wisdom and self control-to see things as they really are, and to try to do the right thing always. I pray to be able to see when you reveal yourself and your will to me. I pray for the ability to do things your way-I've been doing things my way for almost 32 years now, and I see where that has gotten me.
Lord, I pray for the woman I love-that she may see in herself all the wonderful, beautiful, and special things that I see. I pray that she may learn to love herself, so that she can give love and accept love. I pray for you to enter her heart and make her feel your love for her. Whether or not she and I are ever together again, I pray for her to find peace with herself and her past, and to make good on what is written on her bedroom mirror about love.
Lord, I pray for the child of mine this beautiful woman carries in her right now-that this child may know that no matter what, its mother and I will always love it and be there for it. I pray that my child will never feel abandoned.
Lord, I pray that I may feel joy again, to laugh and joke and play. I pray that this hollowness within me may be filled, that I may feel peace, that I might love myself again.
Lord, I pray for the ability to forgive all those that have hurt me, for those I have hurt to forgive me, and for me to forgive myself.

I join you in prayer also. We all need to pray for each other. It's unreal what we take for granted each day, the simple things. I pray that we all feel joy, peace and happiness and that we thank Him everyday for it.

In struggling with anxiety for the past 4 years I can honestly say that without the skills that I have learned from this program...and without prayer I would not be where I am. The only thing that constantly gives me peace is prayer, reading my Bible and the strength that comes from God through it.
One of my favorite prayers is Ephesians 3:16-20
This is my prayer for myself and all of you on this forum. I pray that out of his glorious riches he may strengthen you with power through his Spirit in your inner being, so that Christ may dwell in your hearts through faith. And I pray that you, being rooted and established in love, may have power, together with all the saints, to grasp how wide and long and high and deep is the love of Christ, and to know this love that surpasses knowledge—that you may be filled to the measure of all the fullness of God. Now to him who is able to do immeasurably more than all we ask or imagine, according to his power that is at work within us, to him be glory in the church and in Christ Jesus throughout all generations, for ever and ever! When I started this program 3 weeks ago and thought I would burst with anxiety and tears,I created a new short prayer for myself when I just can't go anymore. After I say it I always feel lighter. It works for me, maybe you too. God, Im giving this to you, I know you will take care of me and provide me the strength to continue. I am in your hands. Amen.

i will pray as well for those that are in the group praying and also for the new ones...GOD has answered so many prayers since the group was started...and each time someone reaches out for help or prayer, there is always someone there to help them..
please life me up in your pryers as well.i told some that last friday i went to the VA to get tests done. i found out that my bp was high and also i have no pulse below my waste.i had blood test,x-ray,ekg,colon checked,urine test,..i was put on bp meds tuesday and have a sonagram or doplar test on the 22nd...i know that god WILL WORK THINGS OUT FOR ME...take care and know that all of you are in our thoughts and prayers GOD BLESS..

PVF, Thanks for your honest prayer for yourself. We need to not be afraid to pray for ourselves and asking others to agree is even a greater help as Nelly stated. *D* I will certainly join in for prayer with you since you have so often prayed for me and my family. We've sold our home but have time to decide what we'll do. My husband is thinking modular home but I'm so hoping God will provide us a ready made, tailor made home for us so we can get on about "his business."
PVF, I want to say you are growing thru this pain, this experience as many of us are having "growing pains". As they say, "no pain, no gain." Look at the pain Jesus went thru for us. Our pain later is someone elses gain as we Christians reach out and help one another. God bless you all.

Lucinda calls them growing pains, my USMC background says "Pain is weakness leaving the body" God fills those spaces the weeknesses leaves with power, and strength when we pray. So don't be discouraged by trials, and tribulation for they will come, face it with the power of God for as you said PVF keep on doing the right thing, and God will watch you back keep your eyes on Him, because God is for you and no one can stand against the Two of you, Only Believe in His Love, by Faith in Him Power falls on all your circomstances. I feel so lucky to have friends such as I have, both here at home and on this site. You all are an inspiration. I'll be honest, I struggle constantly with my situation, but try to remind myself of His promise to me.
This morning, Chuck Swindell had a good message about trials and pains, and talked about Josephs trials on earth. Mine look pretty minor compared to his, but that doesn't lessen the pain.
Every day, on average, is a little better, though, and I know that I am a survivor! God bless each and every one of you, and know that you are all in my prayers!

PVF, Yes you do have many friends. We are family on this website. Jesus is your very best friend and is there for you 24/7, never too busy, no answering machine or voice mail. I know He will give you the answers because He "works ALL things for good." Each one of us has a faith walk every day. When one situation is taken care of, you can be sure there will be another to apply your faith too. We get faith tests every day. Sometimes we have the same faith test over and over until we pass it. God bless you brother and KEEP THE FAITH. Boy, I need to do the same. Decision making is never ending. God help each of us to make the right decisions and to listen for the "small still voice."

Dear PVF,
Know that God wants only the best for his children. God sees to it that although when go through hard times God is always there with us.

There is a contemporary christian group that has a great song out. K-lov plays it all the time. I will give you the verse of it.
"Hold fast help is on the way. Hold fast God will save the day. If there is one thing in my life I have learned from my strive is your grace so hold fast."

Put all your faith, hope, love in God he will bless you!

Talk to him daily whereever you are. He never puts you on hold although we often feel like he does. God has a direct line knee mail.
