Hi all.....

I have heard of this series of books but I don't know much about them.....can someone give me an indication of whether or not these books would be recommended and compatible with a 'christian-way of thinking.'

Thanks
Donna

Donna,
As far as I know, those books are a compilation of things that were written on billboards around the U.S.
Of all the times we have moved, being a military family, we have seen numbers of billboards that were black and had sayings on them signed "God".
From what I have seen, they get you thinking and they are very positive. I haven't seen anything that seemed disrespectful or wrong with them. However, I have never read all of them.
They seem to be Christian in nature.

Sorry this is all I had to offer.

I have read books I and II and part of III. You ask if they are compatible with a 'christian-way of thinking' and I would have to honestly answer no - not if your definition of 'christian-way of thinking' is material that backs the bible 100% no questions asked. Donald Walsh asks some pretty hard hitting questions and feels he is getting his information straight from God. Makes you think. May even goof ya up for a while if you think too hard about what's being presented. They are not books I recommend to those trying to sort through the confusion of recovery - recovery is confusing enough. But I will say that I'm glad I read them. If you're looking for a new perspective, he has quite a few.

Am I thinking of the same thing here? Are these the compilations of those billboard sayings??
Perhaps I am completely confused (?).

Andrew I've been meaning to ask you about the pic you always show in your responses lately.
What is it and what does it mean? It seems to look very egyptian.

Thanks Andrew. I was curious and now I know.
BTW...does your computer have options ( when shrinking) to use % instead of dimensions?
I know with mine, I can click on the dimension button and it will show an option to reduce the pic by percentage instead. So I just pick 50% lets say and it does it automatically. Just curious.

Hi Donna,

I have read all five of the Conversations With God and they are excellent. They will indeed get you to thinking and that's good! The author sat down with pen in hand and wrote from what came from deep inside of him. He explains how his books began. They are such good reading that you will find them hard to put down. I highly recommend them.

Blessings,
Bon
