Hi Everyone,
I'm going through a time right now where death scares me, not just for me, but for anyone who passes on. Even if I read about it in the paper or hear about it on TV, it makes me anxious. The thought of someone dying when I know them, is it seems so final and I can't see them anymore or feel their touch and it makes me very anxious. Does anyone else feel this way? I hope I don't sound ridiculous, but I want to work through this. Passing on is suppose to be a very peaceful journey, right? When someone leaves this world, they go onto feeling love and peace and other positive emotions. Other than the selfishness of not having that person here with me anymore or with their family members, I don't know why this bothers me. It's hard for me to think of my family and friends who have passed without feeling so much anxiety because I don't have any contact with them anymore. I should feel happy that they are in a very peaceful place, but it is so hard for me to do. I feel like I'm rambling here, sorry, I hope some of you wonderful people can give me some guidance and suggestions. Thanks for listening!

Dana

I'm truly sorry Dana as I understand how you feel. It is not an uncommon feeling.

If someone dies they are no longer in any pain. It's like a dreamless sleep. Eccl. 9:5

Death does not mean you will never see the person again. God promise to bring them back healthy in a resurrection. John 5:28, 29

This is what you can do to see them possibly again. John 17:3

Life on the earth paradise restored is promised. Matt. 6:9, 10; 5:5; Ps. 37:10, 11; Isa. 35:3-7; 6517, 20-25.

There will be no more sickness, pain nor death. Isa. 33:24; Rev. 21:3, 4.

I'm here from you if you wish to talk further here on the forum or e-mail me. Your feelings are understandable and you can find an inner peace when understanding the reason why we die and that there is hope. In the meantime, sometimes it helps not to look at things on TV that have an negative affect on us.

Sincerely,
Victoria
