I lost my dad about a month ago. I think i might have a low level of anxiety but after the loss of my father I went into extreme level. I was in the E.R. three times and have visited the Dr. six times my chief complaint was chest pain and being very weak and tired. One morning at about 3 a.m. I say a comercial for the cds and I thought what do I have to lose. now on sesion three I am doing better I still have a phobia about exercise I still feel that if I work out I might hve a heart attack. Some nights are better than others.

Hi Got,
I am sorry for your loss! I also have a fear of exercise. I worry I will not be able to breathe and hyperventilate etc. The thing is is that exercising does make me feel better, so its like a catch 22!

Hi,
I have the same fear of exercise but I've been running with a friend and that takes my mind off of my anxiety. I was also recently diagnosed with premature atrial contractions which are like an arrythmia so that too scares me but I've been plugging along. We have to remain positive and stick with the tapes and support each other. Good luck and try and workout with a friend.

I also have PAC's but want to encourage you all that after struggling with them for 6 months and having lots of difficulty exercising I can now exercise easily for 30 minutes and no longer need the heart medicine they'd given me for PAC's. I exercise with exercise videos because it's so hard for me to get to a town. I use Leslie Sansone and Stormie Omaritian because they are easier and less intense for starting and they have lots of encouragement as you go along.

I'm so sorry for your loss and will pray for healing for you as you face your anxiety.
