I'm finally at lesson 15, but it's taken me 9 mos. Yes, I guess procrastination and perfection are a problem for me. I'm 38 and I can remember being anxious and feeling different since I was about 5. I try the relaxation and self talk to calm myself when it gets bad, but even while I'm sleeping I start to get panicky. It's difficult to calm myself in that half sleep state. Sometimes I feel like my anxiety is different or I've had it too long or it's too intense for this program to work even though I've experienced the power of being unaffected. Can anyone commiserate or help me out a little.

Rainman~

You are never to old, been suffering to long or that different that it wont work. You have got to give yourself time and lots of it. This is a process and nothing happens overnight. Practice, practice, practice. And...do the program again. The first time through we are looking for the magic answer, the second time, we listen and hear what is being said and then we can start putting things into practice.

Hi Rainman Smiler I feel the EXACT same way you do. I feel that my anxiety is different and that the program won't work for me because my anxiety is too MUCH! Well the program did work for me back in 1995. After a few tapes I quit because I felt that I didn't need to listen anymore because I was feeling good. I am going to start the program all over again. I am now 29, and have a little more experience with life, that I think the tapes will be even better around the second time. I suggest you keep on listening. That's what I'm going to do Smiler

Thanks Vegasgal and Silvana1,

I know it's silly, but, I do want the anxiety to magically dissappear. Logically, I know I have to work and practice. If I lived with it for 33 years I guess a couple years to over come it substantially would be doing well.

Thanks again.
