What a week I had. Finally finished Lesson 15 and I feel like a new person. I had a few bad days as you all know, some aches and pains I could not explain. BP went up and down and now I think it is all settling down and I feel human again. No Xanax, No Booze, No caffine...I never thought I would survive without those three babies. But, I have and I must say I am dying for a piece of Hershey's Chocolate so I just may treat myself today and get some kisses...I deserve them and one a day will not hurt me. I hope. Moderation is the key I would imagine. Potato Chips are another story. I can not live without them. LOL
Seriously, I could not have done this without the wonderful people on this support group. The Chat room, the Forum, it was what I needed to keep me on the right track. I can't just go away and forget about you all, so I am going to stick around and put my 2 cents in here and there. I hope you don't mind.
I am going to take a few weeks off and then begin a review of the classes again. I just want to be sure I have it all in place.
Thank you all again. God Bless.

Hey SnauzerMom I want you to know I could not have done it without your support. You were with me from day one and I so appreciate it. I feel like I can do anything now. Don't get me wrong, I have funny sensations every now and then but I take care of them quickly. At Mass yesterday I almost felt like running out, I was feeling anxiety coming on but I told it to wait, I had other things to do and it must have gotten tired waiting because it went away before I got back to it. LOL Just goes to show you it is Mind over Matter. Love you all. God Bless.

Even though I haven't talked to you yet in the Chatroom I wanted to say "congratulations" to you!!
I just finished the second day of lesson 1 but reading what you accomplished is driving me to continue this course and finding the new David now and forgetting about the old David who was depressed, high anxiety and panic attacks.
Soon that old David will no longer exist and with people such as yourself and all others I've met so far I'm looking forward to my journey now instead of dreading it.

David, please keep us posted on your Lesson experiences. I did that from Lesson One and everyone was so helpful. Talk to me in the chat room next time you go in. I hope I am there. If not email me and tell me to come in. I am usually available except late at night. I am an early bird. I go to bed early and rise early. Good luck, my friend. I will be waiting to hear how you are doing. Do not push yourself. Take as much time as you feel you need to complete a lesson. I sometimes took more than a week for each lesson. You will find you have some real changes to look forward to. God Bless.

Believe me, I was ready to call it quits after Lesson 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, and on and on, but I was so determined that I was not going to go thru the rest of my life (I am going to be 78 in Aug.) feeling as I was. You just give yourself a kick in the butt and get going. If you want to talk to me just email me and I will try and help you move on. Please do not quit, you can not imagine how good it feels to be the winner in this battle with anxiety and depression.
