Hi evryone,
I know this title seems very strange but have you ever wondered if the things occuring in your life are real. Every morning I wake-up I always hope that this was all a dream. I have spoken earlier that I maybe moving out of my house. I am so scared but I really feel I don't have a choice, my mother is controlling, an old friend of mine which I can't stand is moving next door and is already calling for favours even though I have made it clear that I don't wish to do her any favours. I have lived in the same area for almost thirteen years and attended the same church. I really feel I need a change but I'm worried that I may move to situation that maybe worst than the one I am currently living. |

I often wish, I will wake up, and many things that happened will be erased, but then there are good moments in life that I would not want to forget.

Hi
I think that you need to stop "what-if-ing" in the negative way that you do. Switch it around, and say "what if I move and it turns out to be the best thing that ever happened to me?" "What is this change is really a blessing?" "What if moving opens up so many doors for me?" "What if I feel better than ever if I move?" Listen to your inner voice. It's telling you something. If you keep hearing that you need a change, then you probably do. Just know, that you have the skills to handle yourself and move forward in life. |

I agree with Lexandria.
Get out on your own - you will feel better about yourself because you are independent. YOU will be controlling your life, you won't have to answer to your mother or friend. You can sit around all night and not answer any phone calls (I have a controlling mother too!), you can decide when you want to talk to people (and who you want to talk to!), it will be on your time. It's strange living alone at first, but you'll get used to it and LOVE it! Like Lex said, you can watch tv naked, leave dirty dishes, sing along with the radio, etc. Just remember, if you chose to get married and have children in the future - you will always have a houseload of people. This is your opportunity to have the wonderful experience of living alone. Good luck with whatever path you chose! |
