I just wanted to let you know that my MRI came back normal. The ENT still didn't know what was causing the ringing and didn't seem curious to explore options, so I'm going back to my primary physician for more options. My main complaint is that it's worse at night and is bothering my sleeping, so I'm hopeful I can get some help with that.

I am SO grateful that the problem isn't something more serious. Thank you for being there for me.

See, you got through it fine! I'm glad to hear they didn't find anything bad. The test I got was a BAER (Brain auditory evoked response) I never had an MRI, so maybe it makes this test pointless.

Let me know if you find out anything that might help my ringing.

Thanks, Deb. I went back to my doctor. He really thinks that it's something to do with my eustachian tubes, so he's sending me to a specialist for that. He said if it's not that, we'll look at allergies and treating that more aggressively. I will let you know what I find out.
