I am so excited to be on this week's lesson. It is really where I need to be right now. I basically consider myself a person without anxiety right now (what an empowering thought that is) and am just working on handling everyday life the best and most positive way I can!

One question, does your body know the difference between positive stressors and negative stressors? Mine doesn't and I'm wondering if that is common. I'm currently pregnant and very happy about it but find that even the wonderful things that are happening can make me feel stressed. How does a person learn to balance out good stress?

Happy stress is still stress. You are asking your mind and body to deal with new pressures. I meet mine with the same mind set - rest, exercise, diet, fun activities, etc.

I think that is really common. I always remind myself of something Lucinda says somewhere in the program about it being excitement.

I consider myself like you, however, there have been a couple of time in the last year that I had a panic attack. The only difference was that I stood where I was, internally talked to myself and tried to find a beginning and an end to the body sensation that was going on in my body. I talked to myself about how only a very short time is passing and if I stay put it would go away...and it did! Then I continued where I was and what I was doing and didn't have to run to my car or home n defeat.

It is really neat to know that I can have a "Stage Fright Feeling" and continue on with my day.

I think the program is great.
