I want to share how i have be taking my life back away from anxiety. And i want everyone to put at least one thing you have done to win this battle. Because doing these tapes give us the tools to face them but if we don't use them it's pointless. Today i fought a low level of anxiety all day. But i faced a huge avoidance today i went to our workout facility in our apartment complex and ran 1/2 a mile and actually started to lift weights again it was a great feeling after i was done and did not go into panic right away and never did!! I will keep doing this everyday and work up to not feeling any anxiety at all...

Anybody else care to share......

I too have been exercising by walking and what a huge help. I have to push some other things aside to make time for it and I can't do it always but I notice on those days when I do make exercise a priority I feel so much better. I walk for my mind, not my body. It has also helped me to realize I am in control of what I do each day. I make the choice and it can be a really hard choice with so many other things pressing in, clamoring for attention. Every day does count, they all add up and anxiety builds up when you don't take care of yourself every day. It's not selfish, it actually benefits those around you.
