Hmmmmmm!! I am pretty good with time management. I always have been very organized.

But for me I am still lacking the balance in life that I really long for. I believe, for me, that this balance would be to become acceptant of the times I am BORED and more acceptant of the times when I have nothing to do. I am thinking of ways I can put my boredom to good use!! LOL

I read something today about boredom that suggested that we can use boredom as a form of therapy!! To become more in tune with our thoughts and a time to let our frustrations go and let boredom become a feeling of inner peace and tranquility.

This will make my life more balanced!!

I can juggle children, cleaning the house, dinner, appointments, etc.....but it's managing my own times for peace and joy that I have trouble with.

Anyone relate??

I can relate. I used to be very pride of my ability to multi task as well.

After I finished the program, I wanted to continue with this life lesson. I tried different directions. One of them was Yoga. To put it in a very simple term, Yoga is like an extension of our relaxation tape. You turn your attention to your own body. Instead of reading a book, you read your own breathe. Eventually, I am not afraid of boredom because it is not boredom, it is peace and contentment. I can allow myself to just sit. I am not really "doing nothing", I am directing my body to retune itself.

Ok, it doesn't work every time. Most of the time I couldn't do it. I am still learning. But it is wonderful when I can achieve peace and calmness.
