I just wonder if anyone has come to this forum whereby they have so much responsibilites on their plate that they are suffering burn out? When I heard the infomercial I noted there, and I think on the tapes, people owning own business or up the ladder in their secular field or other experiencing anxiety. When one has to work and other one has to work and other -usually.

Hi Victoria! This is an interesting posting and funny that I should run into it tonight. I have so much work to do this week, (and it has been going on since I started this job), that I'm having a hard time getting the tiniest thing done. After going through this program and really getting good at handling the anxiety and panic, I find myself vascillating back and forth between getting the work done even though the expectations are so unrealistic and not getting it all done and being assertive about my feelings. Part of me says "it should be all over with by this time next week so I should go ahead and work very hard" and yet the other part asks "is this really healthy?" My answer to all of the questions has been to come in hear and check out the forum!
Its amazing how those of us who have suffered problems with anxiety feel the need to please so much that we actually do things that can harm us physically, mentally, and emotionally. (I think I just solved my problem about not being able to get anything done tonight. I think I'll go put everything in folders and call it a night!) I don't know if this is exactly what you had in mind but it helped me just to put this down in writing.
