Washing and blow dry or sitting under the dryer takes so much time and I hate doing it. I try to do it once a week and if done right will last.

I have long curly and frizzy hair that I refuse to cut (so don't suggest it) But I could use some idea how to get a smooth look and not spending the time which I hate.

I have a blow dryer, dryer, and straightening hot plates which take time. If I pull it straight in a pony tail to dry it is still damp and the ends are a mess.

Any ideas that will help me save time and still look gorgious? Ha ha

Hi,
I have very straight hair. For years I had perms for the curls. I've gone straight for a few years now. I like it. I usually end up with a ponytail bun in my hair because it is pretty long and I don't like stuff around my face and getting in the way. Anyways, I have no tips, but guess what I did. I colored my hair yesterday. My first time in my life. I was never brave enough before but I find as I feel better all the time I want to do more fun things and new things. I like my new color and I like that the grey has gone away. Even if only temporarily. So, I guess I am proud of myself for just going for it. Reena, What color? When I went blond I changed to black clothing and it looks great. I think with hair color change make and clothing needs to be changed to show off the change.
BLond - black, burgndy, purple, sometimes red.
Brown - white and other
Red - turquoise, green, black, white, etc.

Well, it turned out darker than I had anticipated. Brown. But most people didn't even notice it yesterday at church. Been there for years and I had some fun conversations about it all too. Funny thing, I end up putting my hair up in a ponytail bun anyways because I don't like it down and in the way and its hot out too. Its waist length. But I like it. I seem to wearing more lite purple and beige lately. Yellow too. This is fun. I'm enjoying being different. Take care, Reena

Wow, I wish my hair was that long. And I agree that frumpy is out and depressing and a rut. Change is making the best of my looks and entertaining and inviting friends from the past like a reunion including ones I've never met. I just asked a couple of friends for the names of people our type and walla.
