...I am so totally amazed at my latest accomplishment. Last December I made a trip to Disney with my husband and another couple and could not bring myself to get on one ride or ferry or anything where I felt there was no means of escape. I'm sure I wasn't much fun to be around on that trip, but just this week we went again with family and I don't know why but this time I just got on the ride that takes you up in to EPCOT. I was so surprised at myself because once you are on, you are on and it disappears into the darkness for a while. I never had a single moment of panic! Also the last time, I just stood there and watched everyone else having fun coming down splash mountain and this time I WENT ON!! Again, no panic. For those of you still so bound by anxiety and panic..I was there too..housebound for two years and didn't drive for over two years as well. With time and patience you can get better. I never thought I'd be where I am now, and each challenge that I conquer makes me that much more confident that I can tackle any new challenge that comes my way. So hang in there, you will overcome this!!! High Fives to all, Calico
